Ally & John | The Bradford | New Hill, North Carolina

Cool and crisp weather made for a perfect wedding day for Ally & John at the Bradford in New Hill, North Carolina.  Ally had a few simple requests, such as using rich jewel tone colors, but she mostly just wanted us to "do our thing."  She also wanted a giant bouquet and we, of course, were happy to oblige because who doesn't love a big bouquet!  Designing the ceremony arbor was also a treat as we were visited by a deer passing quietly through the woods.

Another fun detail was the precious little flower crown for Ally's niece.  Ally's twin sister had just welcomed a brand new baby girl two weeks before the wedding!

Thank you to Melissa Vossler Photography for the wonderful pictures.

Nicky & Daniel | The Merrimon-Wynne House | Raleigh, North Carolina

Nicky & Daniel's spring wedding was filled with so many personal touches. Nicky's mother reupholstered several beautiful pieces of furniture for the lounge area.  The family made a hanging Edison light bulb fixture to hang over the bar and refinished an antique bicycle to serve as a sign board.  We loved flowering the bicycle baskets!  Nicky's color pallette of soft creams, nudes and blushes lent itself perfectly to garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, sweet pea, astilbe, lisianthus and snap dragons. The slightly cooler than normal weather was perfect for their dinner on the lawn.  These beautiful images were captured by DHS Photography.  This wedding was also recently featured on Borrowed & Blue.

Melissa + Jackson | The Cloth Mill at Eno River - Hillsborough, North Carolina

A warm, beautiful afternoon in May played host for Melissa and Jackson's colorful wedding at the The Cloth Mill at Eno River.  They envisioned soft, spring blooms with grasses for added texture and an earthy feel.  We went with the following blooms and greens: ranunculus, peonies, sweet pea, clematis, mint, chamomile, delphinium, scabiosa, and bunny tail grass. Melissa wanted the array of colors in the personal floral to also be reflected in the ceremony backdrop.  We really had a great time creating the gradient of color across the top with the individual blooms suspended below.

Blest Studios captured so many beautiful and romantic moments!

Stephanie + Blake | The Bradford - New Hill, North Carolina

We loved Stephanie and Blake's garden-inspired vision for their November wedding at The Bradford.  With Stephanie being a wedding planner (La Cosa Bella Events) and Blake being a photographer (Foxtail Photography), their attention to the details really created a wonderful experience for their guests.  From the groomsmen's socks and cuff links to the marble place cards and honey jar guest favors, every inch was personalized and thoughtful!  The beautiful blooms picked for this vision were peony, garden roses, hellebore, honey suckle, snap dragons, stock, ranunculus, astilbe, veronica and lisianthus.

With Blake and Stephanie both being photographers, they knew Taylor Lovette with Blue Barn Photography was the perfect person to be behind the camera!

Liz + Ronnie | The Merrimon-Wynne House - Raleigh, North Carolina

The gorgeous pink snowberry was one of our favorite floral details from Liz and Ronnie's October wedding at The Merrimon-Wynne House.  Liz had a beautiful vision of blush and cream but wanted just a hint of fall.  Her bouquet is bursting with dahlia, ranunculus, garden roses, hellebore, veronica, astrantia, and eucalyptus.  The hint of fall comes from the rich pistachio foliage.

Katherine, from Gather Together, did an amazing job seamlessly putting together all of the details.  Hurricane Matthew couldn't stop a dream team!
