Bouquets

Bridal bouquets are as unique as each of our brides. They are an expression of your personal taste and style. Usually the bouquets are the first element of the wedding flowers that we design, choosing only the most flawless flowers and pristine foliage. Do you like a more rounded bouquet that has a more traditional flair or you are craving a loose and lush arrangement of blooms and organic greenery? Anna has over eight years of experience making bouquets and they are still her favorite part of each wedding. She still gets butterflies when presenting the bouquet to the bride at each wedding. Bouquets are also the most photographed of all of your wedding flowers, so keep that in mind when day dreaming of your future bridal bouquet!

Boutonnieres + other personal flowers

We offer a wide range of personal flowers for all of your wedding attendants. Typically the groom and groomsmen wear boutonnières. Other attendees to consider would be parents, grandparents, ushers, program attendants, greeters, flower girls and ring bearers. Typically the tradition is to honor anyone who is actively participating in your ceremony that you have asked to do so or that you have a close relationship to.

Ceremony

The ceremony space is sacred and our aim is to always treat it as such. When we create a ceremony backdrop for our couples there is so much more than just pretty flowers involved. We start with prayer and intention that the marriage is blessed. Many of our couples also choose to decorate their aisle. We believe that the aisle is just as important as the ceremony backdrop because it is where the bride is revealed to her groom and also where the couple takes their first steps into life as a souls joined in eternity.

Cocktail Hour

After the ceremony guests usually congregate to greet one another and have refreshments. Depending on your venue, there are many ways we can add floral elements to a cocktail hour. Cocktail tables, small bistro tables and lounges provide guests with ample room for resting and conversing. Sometimes clients choose to add floral to their bars, mantles, staircases and gift or guest book tables in the cocktail area. You can go over the top here or just keep it sweet and simple.

Reception

When thinking about your reception florals, imagine how you want to feel when entering the space, eating, and while dancing. The floor plan is like the easel and the linens are like the canvas. We like to think of the flowers and candles as the paint in the work of art that is your wedding day. There are countless ways to bring love and beauty into a reception space. Elevated arrangements, gauzy cheesecloth runners, loose greenery, candles of all shapes and colors, low floral arrangements with spilling blooms and foliage. We are here for all of it! If you are working with a full service planner, a day of coordinator or planning the details on your own we are here each step of the way. If you would like our input on your floor-plan, design or rental choices we also offer packages for that.

Installations

Floral installations can be as simple as attaching loose vines to existing chandeliers in a ballroom or as in-depth as decorating a custom built wall or other element to change the entire feel of a space. We can do it all. From overhead hanging floral chandeliers in all shapes and sizes to fireplace mantels decked out in blooms and greenery. We consider anything that we have to construct or design on site an installation.

Cake Flowers

One of our favorite aspects of setting up a wedding is placing the cake flowers. The meaning and symbolism of cutting the cake and feeding it to one another is such an important part of the wedding ritual as well as a reminder of what being married is about, serving one another. We believe that all cakes deserve beautiful fresh blooms, so whether you have a single tier cutting cake or a multi tiered baked creation, don’t forget the flowers!

Floral Details

Once you’ve planned the bouquets, personal flowers, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception you may think “could anything else possibly need flowers?” The answer is sometimes: “YES!” Some areas to consider would be any signs that are used to greet or direct your guests, loose flowers for styling your invitation suite, favor or drink display areas and our personal favorite: sweetheart chair swags! Are such items absolutely necessary? No, but they help personalize your wedding day and bring life and love to all areas of your venue.
