Jubilee is so much more than just our home. It is a dream realized. After many years of "city life" we craved something that felt a little simpler, a little slower and a lot more grounded. Living here has taught us so much about patience, working as a team and the benefits of having a close relationship with nature. Although we have lived at Jubilee for over two years, we are still learning every day and coming to understand what this place has in store for us.

Some of our long term goals and dreams are to continue to grow our botanical garden so that others can come and enjoy our grounds. Cultivate our herb and vegetable gardens year round to provide ourselves and our community with fresh, organic produce. Continue raising chickens to provide fresh eggs to local shelters and food banks. Compost all of our food scraps and chicken waste to help reduce our impact on local landfills. Update a large barn on the property so that it may be used for retreats and workshops as well as enjoyed by bed and breakfast guests.

Our hope is that others who come to visit Jubilee will always feel welcome and right at home. We are passionate about hosting friends (old and new), having memorable gatherings and deeply meaningful events. Whether it's an intimate dinner with friends, our annual Summer Solstice Celebration or any other of our lively affairs our goal is always to make our guests feel comfortable and at peace. Eventually we hope to open our space so that others may host retreats and workshops of their own. We feel that Jubilee is the perfect place to host one day to week long gatherings for yoga, meditation or silent retreat.

Some of our favorite areas to enjoy on the thirteen private acres are the ancient mimosa tree, the firepit and swing, the shady alleyway, and Brian's favorite: the stock tank pool + garden. During the spring and summer months the entire property is teeming with life! Butterflies, tree frogs, blue birds,  dragonflies and hummingbirds are just a few of our favorites. Each creature that we encounter is sacred and treated as such.

We are believers in being stewards of the land, never owners. We own nothing and are only here temporarily to learn, to love and to hopefully make this world more peaceful and beautiful before we leave. Thank you for being here and for loving Jubilee just like we do!

Thank you to our friends who have come and taken images of our property over the years: Mikkel Paige Photography, Ally and Bobby and Kelsey Booth Photography.
